Horombo Hut is the largest hut camp on Kilimanjaro, spread across a sunny terrace in the moorland zone with views over a sea of clouds.

It is used on the way up and the way down, so it is always lively, with climbers heading for the summit meeting those returning from it. On our 6-day Marangu itinerary you spend an extra night here to acclimatise. Rongai climbers also stay here on the descent.
