Tour Tanzania with Licaon Safaris

Itinerary of Tanzania Tour

Day 1

Day 01: Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha: 55Kms/1 hour Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Soon after custom procedures and luggage collection, you will be welcomed by Licaon Tours & Safaris representative with a signboard displaying your name. He/she will introduce you to your driver guide ready for the road transfer to Arusha. Dinner and accommodation at your Arusha Hotel

Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park: 120kms/2 Hours

Breakfast at your hotel. You may need to change some foreign money to obtain local currency (Tanzanian Shillings) and perhaps buy some toiletries before commencing your wilderness trip. With picnics, depart for Tarangire National Park. Game drives in this park are famous for herds of elephants and different species of birds. Later, drive out of the park and proceed to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at your lodge/camp in Tarangire.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park – Serengeti National Park: 295kms/5.5 Hours

Breakfast at the lodge. Collect packed lunches, leave Tarangire behind, and head to Serengeti via the highlands of Ngorongoro. As you enter the Serengeti, you have game drives en route towards your lodge, located at Central Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Serengeti.

Day 4

Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park: 205kms/4 Hours

Breakfast at the lodge. Collect packed lunches, leave Manyara behind, and head to Serengeti via the highlands of Ngorongoro. As you enter the Serengeti, you have game drives en route towards your lodge, located at Central Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Serengeti.

Day 6

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater: 145kms/3 Hours

Early breakfast will be served at your lodge/camp. Equipped with packed lunches, depart for Ngorongoro Crater arriving at the rim by 10h30. Descend to the floor of the crater for an amazing tour of the crater. This is the perfect spot to chance for the black rhino which is at moment the endangered species given its nature of reproduction. Later, ascend out of the crater and proceed to your lodge. Dinner and Overnight at your lodge in Ngorongoro.

Day 7

Ngorongoro – Arusha – Kilimanjaro Airport

Breakfast. Thereafter, drive back to Arusha for lunch at a restaurant. Depending on your outbound flight timings, you may spare the afternoon for last-minute shopping before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
